T-Fal Deep Fryer with Basket

T-fal Deep Fryer with Basket, Stainless Steel, Easy to Clean Deep Fryer, Oil Filtration, 2.6-Pound, Silver, Model FR8000

The T-Fal is of the best deep fryers for chicken wings, shrimp, donuts, and almost everything else. If you’re in the market for a deep fryer, it all depends on where you’re coming from. If you’re looking for an industrial-grade fryer that can handle work 24/7 non-stop with no breaks in between, then this might not be the one. But if you’re on the lookout for something for your home. A deep fryer that can spice up the weekend barbecue. Which is easy and convenient to use, then this just might be the ticket.

One of the key features of the T-Fal is that this is a deep fryer with a filter for your oil. This is one of the best-implemented oil filtration systems available. It is simple to understand and operate, and because of that, you’ll have an easy time cleaning after 8-9 times of reusing the oil. How it works is that after you’re done frying, it drains the oil underneath the fryer in a plastic bag. This prevents oil wastage.

You can set the frying basket to two positions. One for cooking and one for draining. The top of the lid is transparent so you can see what’s cooking and how far along it is. Even when it’s running at full blast you won’t have any problems handling it. Heat resistant handles make it so. When all is said and done, and it comes time to clean it out, another lifesaver is the fact that this machine is dishwasher-safe. Just chuck it in and be done with it.

Features:

  • Stainless steel
  • 3.5 Liters capacity
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Easy to clean

KRUPS KJ502D51 Electric Deep Fryer

T-fal Deep Fryer with Basket, Stainless Steel, Easy to Clean Deep Fryer, Oil Filtration, 2.6-Pound, Silver, Model FR8000

Now, the KRUPS Deep fryer is a professional-grade fryer with a lot of nifty features. Let’s start with the basics. It has a 4.5 Liter capacity for oil, which is more than enough for most restaurants or even home use. There are three baskets in the package. One large basket for big batches of chicken wings or donuts and two smaller baskets for smaller portions. The handles contain non-conducting plastic. They keep them cool when operating. And all the rest uses stainless steel. The entire contraption can easily be dismantled for easier cleaning and troubleshooting in case something goes wrong.

Also, note that this is an electric deep fryer. It has 4 presets included out of the box that automatically set the temperature of the fryer and for how long it needs to run before you start. You have a preset for chicken, onion rings, french fries, and one for donuts. If you’re planning on frying any of these foods, simply press the Preset button, select the right one and start. Wait for it all to finish, it will do so automatically and take your food out. It’s quite simple.

And in case you’re like me who needs to see how far along the food is every 30 seconds, you’ll appreciate the viewing window on the top of the fryer to see what’s what. And don’t forget, you can easily use this indoors. Unlike most deep fryers, this one comes with an odor filter to prevent the oily smell from spreading.

Features:

  • 4.5 Liters Capacity
  • 3 Frying Baskets
  • 4 Presets (Chicken, Onion Rings, French Fries, Donuts)
  • Viewing Window
  • Odor Filter

DeLonghi D44528DZ Livenza Easy Clean Deep Fryer

DeLonghi D44528DZ Livenza Easy Clean Deep Fryer, Silver, 18 x 11 x 12.5 inches

The De’Longhi is also another great choice for deep frying chicken wings. It has some of the most precise temperature controls among its competitors. One of the best features, although it isn’t advertised, is that it needs almost no time to get the oil at the right heat level for cooking. This makes it quick and convenient to use. Although you need at a minimum of 1 gallon of oil to begin operation, it’s a great investment if you find yourself cooking for multiple people on a regular basis. And even if you’re only cooking for one, this is a deep fryer with a drain spout that can drain the oil without you having to even touch it. This easily allows you to reuse oil and minimize wastage.

Speaking of conserving oil, the De’Longhi fryer has a great feature for saving costs. That is the larger cool zone that allows food particles to drop to the bottom. This keeps the oil cleaner and fresher. As a result, it has a much longer lifespan than normal. This also allows for less oil to absorbed by the food resulting in a healthier option. And to wrap it up, when you’re done using the fryer you can chuck all the greasy parts of the machine in the dishwasher since they are dishwasher-safe.

Another consideration to have is that the De’Longhi has a narrow footprint. It takes a surprisingly small amount of kitchen space while providing a more than decent oil capacity.

Features:

  • Cool Zone
  • Longer-Lasting Oil
  • Narrow Footprint
  • Easy Draining
  • No Spattering

Cuisinart CDF-200P1 Deep Fryer

Cuisinart CDF-200P1 Deep Fryer, 4 Quart, Stainless Steel

The Cuisinart Deep Fryer is another reliable piece of kitchenware. It doesn’t have too many unique features going for it. But what it does have is a reliability assurance and a long track record of longevity with stable performance. It has 3.8L of capacity for oil. And an 1800 Wattage that will get the oil as hot as needs to get in as little a time as possible.

Wait about 2 hours after you’re done frying to take the oil out and clean. It’s recommended that you use this fryer outside because it will give off the standard oily smell of a fryer after running for some time. The best way to deal with that is to just avoid it altogether.

There is a also a basket that comes in the box but you’re better off using your own basket if you want to do some heavy lifting. There is a ready light that indicates when the frying is done and the oil is back to optimum conditions, so you’re advised to wait for it to go off between batches. The ready light is very important. Because if you put your chicken wings before it comes on they will just absorb the oil content and become greasy. And lastly, keep it away from all water sources (think kitchen sink) as water splashes are a huge hazard when it comes to fryers.

Features:

  • 1800 Watt
  • Stainless Steel
  • 3.8 Liters
  • Cool Touch Handle

OLYM STORE Electric Deep Fryer wBasket & Lid, Countertop Kitchen Frying Machine, Stainless Steel French Fryer for Turkey, French Fries, Donuts and More, 5KW 60Hz 110V (12L)

This is what you’ll see at every Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and KFC there is in existence. And for good reason. The design has been over-engineered to pursue efficiency of the highest degree. And there is little to no room for improvement left considering the cost-benefit. That is why you can this huge deep fryer for dirt cheap. Secura Electric Deep Fryer

Secura 1700-Watt Stainless-Steel Triple Basket Electric Deep Fryer with Timer Free Extra Odor Filter, 4L17-Cup

One of the advantages of something like the Secure Triple Basket Deep Fryer over something like a commercial-grade deep fryer is the precise temperature control. This has always been the case for smaller, more compact fryers versus bigger ones.

This fryer comes with a 4 Liter oil capacity which is fairly standard for home users. This is a deep fryer with filter which is carbon-activated. How it works is that it detects when the fryer is running and prevents the odor from leaking out. You can use the fryer even indoors. There are three baskets included in the package, two smaller ones that can be operated side by side to cook different things, and a larger basket to cook large batches of food. The temperature control and timer at the top control what happens inside. And you can use the viewing window at the top to see as well.

When it comes times to clean, pour out the oil. Unfortunately, this is not a deep fryer with drain spout. Luckily, both the oil tank and the baskets are dishwasher safe.

Features:

  • 4 Liters Oil Capacity
  • Carbon Activated Filter
  • 3 Baskets
  • Up to 375° F Temperature Control
  • 60-Minute Timer

National Presto 05461 Deep Fryer

National Presto 05461 Stainless Steel Pro Fry Immersion Element Deep Fryer,Silver

The National Presto Deep fryer comes feature packet. It is a bit on the smaller side, capable of holding 2.8 liters of oil. So while you may not want to pull this out for the weekend barbecue, it serves incredibly well as a personal deep fryer with a basket for when you are feeling the urge to indulge.

One of the key features of the Presto 05461 is that it is very easy to clean. This is mainly because of the modular design. You can clean the heating element and the enameled pot separately. It also comes with a frying basket that fits snugly with the heating element. Because of this make sure you don’t fill the oil all the way to capacity. Fill it just enough to enjoy the maximum benefit. Unfortunately, you will have to drain the oil the old-fashioned way. But considering the price, that is no surprise.

Despite its minute stature, it is sturdy and strongly built. It has stainless steel construction for easy heat conduction. The deep fryer comes with a filter at the top which prevents splattering of oil when it is cooking. The top of the fryer has a thermostat and indicator light, nothing digital. But they serve their purpose well. While the temperature control could be tighter, it does its job just fine. The only gripe we have with this one is that the Electric cord is a bit on the shorter side. The outlet has to be right next to the fryer to ensure easy access. You can solve this with an extension wire but it’s still something to take note of.

Features:

  • Modular Design
  • Easy Cleaning
  • Sturdy
  • Deep Fryer with Filter

Presto 05411 GranPappy Deep Fryer

Presto 05411 GranPappy Electric Deep Fryer

If you’re going small, you can’t get smaller than the Presto GranPappy. This one is a bit of an oddball here on this list. Here’s why.

First thing’s first. This machine does not have temperature control. You heard that right, you can’t adjust the temperature. It’s either ON or OFF. No in-between. It goes from 0 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit quite quickly. 4 to 5 minutes, give or take. That means that you need to put the stuff you’re frying in quickly or risk burning everything to a crisp if you’re late. But this also means that everything is super simple.

Note that the lid is made out of plastic, it is going to get hot if you put it on while it’s cooking. The tall nature of the bucket can stop the splatter so don’t go using the lid for that, it will end badly. Also, don’t touch this while it is cooking. This is a no-brainer for any deep fryer really but maybe it’s because of the design but people seem to think you can touch it barehanded for some reason.

Onto the good stuff. This fryer has a small footprint. The pictures make it look bigger than it is. Check the product description for the exact measurements. This means easy storage. The insides are made out of heavy-duty cast aluminum with a non-stick finish. So while this fryer is definitely not for everybody, you’ll easily fall in love with the simplicity of the operation and the no-hassle workings of the GranPappy if you give it a chance.

Features:

  • High Temperature
  • Super Simple Operation
  • Small Footprint
  • Magnetic Plug

Conclusion

On your hunt to find the best deep fryer for chicken wings, we wish you luck. Feel free to ask as anything. We’re more than happy to help for when you need guidance on any aspect of these purchases. We hope we’ve been helpful.
