Leaking

Leaks typically originate from the pitcher seal (gasket) or the lid connection. Check that the pitcher is properly seated on the base and the lid is locked. If leaking persists, inspect the rubber gasket for cracks or flattening — a $5–15 replacement gasket usually solves the problem permanently.

Unusual Noises

Normal: steady hum or whirring during operation. Abnormal: grinding (foreign object in the mechanism or blade wear), rattling (loose component — check that the pitcher is properly seated), or banging (motor imbalance). For grinding, stop the machine immediately and inspect the pitcher interior for debris.

Bad Taste or Odor

Stale or sour taste comes from residual liquid left in the machine between uses. Always rinse and dry after every session. Mold or mildew odor requires a deep clean: fill with a 1:10 white vinegar/water solution, run for 5 minutes, discard, and rinse twice. Leave to air dry completely with the lid off.

Machine Won't Start

First, verify the outlet is functioning and the machine is properly plugged in.
